About 1/18 Trx-4M
Appearance and Body
The Trx-4m has two body shells, the Bronco for Ford and the Defender for Land Rover. Traxxas used the design of no-body clips in the TRX-4M, which comprehensively improved the simulation degree and made the disassembly and assembly of the car body very convenient.
TRX-4M is equipped with hydraulic shock absorbers, beam trapezoidal frame, 4-link front, and rear suspension, and a detailed ABS car shell, which makes climbing RC active again. Whether 1/18 TRX-4M is used as 1/10 TRX- 4 The owner’s brother model or beginners who are exposed to climbing for the first time can immediately enjoy the driving and modification fun brought by simulated climbing.
Compared to the 1/10 scale Trx4, the 1/18 scale Trx4m is so small that it can almost be held in one hand. Aspects to carry, you can even put it inside a backpack. Whether indoors or outdoors, you can always enjoy RC fun.
Part of the body components is manufactured using injection molding, including spare tire racks, luggage racks, rearview mirrors, door wrenches, etc. The detail simulation is higher, and Traxxas has prepared a wealth of original TRX-4M modified parts for players to DIY their own cars.
Parts and Accessories
Control Module: TRX-4M uses an all-in-one ECM-2.5TM control module with three built-in modes (Sport Mode/Trail Mode/Crawl Mode). This ECM-2.5TM all-in-one control module integrates XL-5TM ESC, TQ Receiver, and Pro Scale lighting control module, capable of low voltage detection of 2s lithium battery.
Motor: TRX-4M has a high-torque Titan 180 87T motor, and waterproof electronic equipment allows this car to walk all day long. In addition, it is also equipped with standard components, such as LED anti-collision bar lights (it is very easy to add brake lights, reversing lights, etc.), TQ remote control, and high torque (waterproof 2065T) steering servo.
Throttle Control: Traxxas’ TRX-4M offers smooth throttle control. The steering angle reaches 45 degrees, and the steering radius is reduced by 30% compared with the common 1/24 model. Compared with the 1/18 model, it is reduced by 50%, allowing the car to easily turn and turn around in tight spots indoors. Handling flexibility is better than some 1/24 models.
Tires: TRX-4M uses large diameter high grip soft compound tires. Ford uses BFGoodrich® Mud Terrain T/A® KM3 tires and Land Rover uses Canyon Trail tires. TRX-4M has good ground clearance, real GTM hydraulic shock absorbers, and large axles, which ensure the car’s performance in outdoor climbing and crawling. Whether it’s trick climbing or traversing, the TRX-4M is a lot of fun.
Battery: The TRX-4 runs on 4-7 NiMH and 2s-3s lipo batteries. The TRX-4M runs on 2s lipo batteries. Looking for Reasonably priced lipo batteries? You can find what you want at the OVONIC store.
